We are an international multi-gaming community that formed in 2004 and is based in the Philippines. XIII came a long way and played many different games and fate has kept us together over the years. Our family grows bigger with every new game we play with members all around the globe. As a guild that started from humble beginnings, we emerged as one of the world’s competitive community out there. We are able to face what the MMORPG world has to offer. We highly value our members and loyalty, camaraderie and discipline are the three most important aspects of our community which made XIII what it is now. Why the name XIII? XIII ( 13 ) is regarded as an unlucky number and considered a "bad" number, but that's why we chose this number as the name of the Guild. It’s in roman numeral form to make it simple and mysterious. People sees this number as a bad omen, yet we face this as our retribution. XIII has always been at the dark side of online gaming, respect us or hate us, we don't care. We contradict what others may seem as a bad sign and rise from the obstacles that time and luck throws at us. As other people fear the number 13, we embrace it as our destiny, we want those people to fear us and become ominous. This is also to remind us that we would never let anyone or anything bring us down. Thus, made the pact of our brotherhood much stronger from the test of time and survived since 2004 and learned how to be an established, organized, stable and glorious guild the hard way. We established XIII and strengthened it and made it what it is today. We tend to make it a "real-life" organization - not like the others who love to role play about in game dramas and such. We want the community to be able to help each other in every way we can. We held events for most of our members in every town and bring them together. XIII wants to know the player behind the character rather than knowing only the character in game. We value each person both in and out of the game. This is a community made for the cause of gathering hardcore gamers and pinoys from different parts of the globe, uniting them in one heritage and hobby. Proving our existence as experienced gamers cause we tend to play the game at heart. We don't just leave the game or guild as it is, but we take it in our every day life, our guild mates became our friends and our friends, family. These traits keeps us apart from other guilds and community. Since 2004, we haven't let go of what we’ve started, housing the same members from day one and still gaining more eager and loyal member to this day, this is what REAL camaraderie is all about, It's LOYALTY at it's finest! Up till now we communicate with each other, and it just seems like yesterday that we guys met. The bond of what XIII made us, is like having siblings made by one father. We treat each other in the guild as equal individuals, whatever the race, nationality nor status in life. We accept them for not who they are, but for what they are made of. And now as we choose these games as our new realm, we would still do what we are made to do, to prevail and upheld our banner in the world we chose to live into. Death or Glory as XIII members may say, we will never retreat and will never in our life surrender. Times may get harsh and we may fall, but we already proved that we are here for greatness. Our goal is to unify professional gamers and Filipinos in the game. The core members of XIII are from the Philippines. Anyone is welcome to join us as long as you fill in the requirements and abide the rules of XIII. When speaking in the Clan chat, please be reminded to speak in Tagalog / English most of the time so that our foreign comrades would be able to understand us. Thank you. |
